"The ambition of the greatest men of our generation has been to wipe every tear from every eye. That may be beyond us, but so long as there are tears and suffering, so long our work will not be over."

-Jawarharlal Nehru

Prepare.

Educate.

Empower.

Work An Hour.

July 15 - September 15
The next evolution is thought to be of the human mind. Highly evolved and trained minds are at this very moment unlocking the mysteries of our universe and pushing the limits of what mankind can achieve.  In our high tech world what chance of survival would you give to a 10 year old child who never learned the alphabet? Keeping evolution and survival of the fittest in mind? Can independent India support and protect its underprivileged, disabled or orphaned children? Whose responsibility are they? Should they just 'grow up' and learn to take care of themselves? There are no easy answers!

On this Independence Day Asha for Education asks you to donate what you earn in an hour. This enables us to fund the 20 Projects that continue to educate, house, feed and inspire 4415 children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Let us free these children independence from illiteracy, hard labor and abuse and other evils that our society is still burdened with. Take a Minute. Donate an Hour. Change a Life this Independence Day.
